Hello guys, Some days ago I published a post about the Masik Rom and the version is Masik X 15.0. Now there is a new build available which is  Masik X 16.1. I have flashed this new build on my Redmi k20 Pro. The Masik team has released many builds after 15.0 but I can't review them because of my business. By the way, this build is far better then preview builds. Today I never write the full details about this Rom. Because I have already written about this Masik Rom. You can check it out. Let's talk about what has improved from the previous builds.


Battery Backup:

This Rom surprised me for their battery backup. Also on this build, I got far better battery life as compared to other custom Roms. If you need a very very super cool battery backup then you should flash this Rom immediately. I charged my device fully in the Morning and this Rom gave me a full-day battery lifespan. Trust me guys, I never charged my phone during the day. I play Pubg with Ultra graphics for around 1 hour. Also, I use social media apps like Instagram and WhatsApp all the time. Still, the battery isn't draining during standby mode.


Performance:

I Play many high-end graphics games like Pubg Mobile, Asphalt 9, Call Of Duty Mobile with high settings. The performance I noticed was noticeably similar to older builds of this Rom. I forgot to mention that this Rom is also based on MIUI Stock Perf Kernel. 

So, you can't accept better performance than the Stable MIUI 12.0.2. But yeah, I can say this Rom is far better than the stable Rom. The system animation is very smooth as I'm using any AOSP based custom, Rom. Developers optimize the System Launcher from the older versions. If you need extreme performance from this Rom then simply flash a custom kernel for your device. 

In my case, I flashed and tried many custom kernels to find which one is good. First I flash Marisa kernel which is not optimized for this Rom I think. Then I flash SuperMad Kernel which is pretty good. But If you need more performance then you should compromise your battery life. I don't need high-level performance that's why I'm back again in the stock perf kernel.


Extra Features:

First I notice that there is an updated MIUI Camera present on this Rom. Also in the stock gallery, I found new options in the Sky filter. There are a lot of new filters added here. Next, I noticed the Zero Screen or App Vault. You can change the App vault in 2 different interfaces.


The bug I found:

I found a major bug on this build. Which is in the Display Fingerprint reader. The reader fails to detect my finger when I use Always-on display. This kind of bug I think will be fixed in the next update.


My Opinion:

I like MIUI 12 for the customization. But I can't get the best performance from the stock or stable MIUI 12. But the Masik Rom is really great for me. It is based on MIUI 12 china beta. So, I can use the latest and greatest features of this Rom. So If you are a person who likes the MIUI but uses aosp rom for performance then definitely goes for this.

MSM Xtended Custom Rom Review

Hey readers, Today I will talk about the latest MSM Xtended Rom. This Rom is now available for all Redmi and Xiaomi devices. I installed it on my Redmi k20 pro yesterday. I have covered almost all AOSP based Rom reviews. You can check it from here. But today I will give you a detailed review of another coolest Rom called MSM Xtended.
